Apprenticeship – your apprentice starts here

Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220). Four years on the job, learning from you plus trainers who cut their teeth on major builds across Queensland.

Step up

Certificate IV in Building and Construction (CPC40120). Site supervision, safety, estimating or project management.

Lead

Diploma of Building and Construction (CPC50220). Run projects, manage teams, start your own business.

For independent trades

Management and builder's licence

Certificate IV in Building and Construction (CPC40120), then the Diploma of Building and Construction (CPC50220). Where people have gone: running their own business with a builder's licence.

Safety

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) (BSB41419). Some graduates apply for the Work Health and Safety Officer (WHSO) Certificate of Authority and move into site safety roles.

Compliance and tickets

Short courses: operate a boom-type elevating work platform (EWP) (TLID3035); work safely at heights (RIIWHS204E).

Nationally recognised: CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry; CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction; CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction; BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety; TLID3035 (operate a boom-type EWP); RIIWHS204E (work safely at heights).
